On the other hand, detractors express concerns about the potential hazards associated with genetically modified organisms (GMOs), such as unanticipated ecological consequences and the risk of GMOs cross-pollinating with non-genetically modified crops.


    Agricultural biotechnology is a widely used method to propagate desirable traits and enhance productivity. This is accomplished through selective breeding, which involves manipulating the organism's genetic makeup. By utilizing biotechnology, crops, and animals can experience improved growth, decreased reliance on pesticides, and heightened nutritional quality.
